Las Abuelitas Modernas se encuentran en Je T'attends!

Ya es habitual quedar con ellas una vez al mes y comentar labores y truquitos, siempre con una distraída merienda (la de este domingo ha sido a base de tés y deliciosas tartas) . Es genial pasar algunas horitas con gente que comparte la misma pasión y, además, siempre acabas conociendo gente nueva!

Tengo que enseñaros la preciosa bufanda que me regaló Pepa en la quedada! No me la quito de encima! También estoy terminando un cuello que empecé este mismo domingo y el que me mantuvo muy distraída durante la quedada con las Abuelitas. Cuando lo tenga terminado os lo enseño!

Abuelitas Modernas meet one sunday afternoon a month in a cute place in Barcelona where we can stay, take some the and make crafts. This month we met in  Je T'attends. The cakes were so yummy!

I really love spending some hours with them, sharing what we like and meeting new people.

Punto de cruz muy gigante y canino

El fin de semana pasado pudimos practicar el punto de cruz gigante en el parque Brusi, frente la Casa Sagnier, allí donde Eva, Pepa y Caterina imparten cursos la mar de interesantes.

No es la primera vez que lo hacemos, nos gusta bordar en la ciudad y hacerlo a lo grande! En aquella ocasión lo probamos con una papelera.

Loly creo unos estupendos diagramas con el perrito salchicha dibujado y las cenefas, así que nos resultó facilísimo plasmarlo en los paneles!

Estuvimos bordando toda la mañana Emma, Nuria, Alicia, David y Jéssica (yo sólo pude quedarme una horita...)

En fin! ya tengo ganas de que venga la próxima!

¡We embroidered some fences last weekend with XXL cross stitch.

We made it for the first time some months ago with a urban basket.

The fance with the big hot dog is in Parc Brusi, here, in front of Casa Sagnier, where Eva, Pepa and Caterina take some crafts workshops. 

Loly drew the hot dog and Emma, Nuria, Alicia, David, Jéssica, Loly and me met on saturday for do it!

Mascots, mascots & Sato-chan

Esta tarde he recibido un paquete muy especial de Harapeko Doggy Bag Store

Una cajita Re-ment Circus y mis mascotas japonesas favoritas: Sato-chan y Satoko-chan!

Me enamoré de estos elefantitos en mi viaje a Singapur, en ver la increíble colección en The Little Dröm Store. ¡Os hablé de ellos aquí también! ¡Por fin ya los tengo en casa!

Así que esta tarde me la he pasado jugando, haciendo malabarismos y equilibrios con ellos y haciendo mil fotos con Instagram.

I recieved a wonderfull package from Harapeko Doggy Bag Store

I spent all the afternoon playing with Sato-chan & Satoko-chan and Re-ment elephant and monkey circus and taking photos with Instagram.

I fell in love with these cute Japanese mascots in my trip to Singapore, when I visited The Little Dröm Store and its Sato-chan collection. I also talked about then here.

Me encanta pasar la mañana del domingo creando treasuries!

Story of a Sweet Animals

¡Éste ha sido un fin de semana redondo!

El sábado por la mañana desayunaron conmigo los amiguetes del bosque!

y traían un paquete para mí, el 1r número de la revista Kireei!!!

Por fin he tenido un rato para leerla enterita! Está disponible online y en distintas tiendas del territorio español!

Some little forest friends came to have a breakfast with me saturday morning!

They brought me a package! First Kireei Magazine number!!!!

Finally I had some time to read it! It's available online and in different Spanish shops!

Galletas de Cacahuete para las Abuelitas Modernas

Un domingo cotidiano más!

Y bien acompañada: con las Abuelitas Modernas!

En esta ocasión, pasamos unas horitas en Miscelanëa.

Durante la mañana, preparé algunas galletitas de cacahuete.

¿Queréis la receta? 

Aquí va!

Galletas de Cacahuete

¿Qué necesitáis?: 125g de mantequilla ablandada, 150g de crema de cacahuete crujiente, 225g de azúcar, 1 huevo ligeramente batido, 150g de harina, 75 gramos de cacahuete tostado, 1/2 cucharadita de levadura en polvo, una pizca de sal.

Preparación: en un cuenco grande, batid la mantequilla con la crema de cacahuete. 

Poco a poco vais añadiendo el azúcar granulado. 

Luego, incorporad, poco a poco, el huevo batido y removedlo hasta que todo esté bien mezclado.  Tamizad luego por encima de la preparación la harina, la levadura en polvo y la sal. 

Añadid los cacahuetes y mezcladlo todo para formar una pasta suave. 

A continuación, envolvedlas y déjela enfriar alrededor de 30 minutos en la nevera. 

Formad bolitas de pasta y colocadlas sobre una bandeja, separadas por unos 5 cm, ya que crecen durante la cocción.  Aplanadlas ligeramente con la mano. 

Cocedlas en el horno precalentado a 190ºC unos 15 

minutos, o hasta que estén doradas.

Llevé las galletas dentro de una cajita de cartón y utilicé Coharu Washi Tape Printer para hacer las etiquetas!

Just another happy sunday with modern grannies!

We spent the time in Miscelanëa.

I made some Peanut cookies during the morning to enjoy them in the grannies tea party!

Here is the recipe!

Peanut Cookies

What do you need?: 125g of butter, 150g of crunchy peanut butter, 225g of sugar, 1 egg, 150g of flour, 75g toasted peanut, 1/2 spoon of baking powder and a pinch of salt.

Preparation: beat the butter and the peanut butter in a big bowl. Add the sugar gradually.

Then, ad the beated egg and stir it until be mixed. 

Sift the four, baking powder and salt into the mix. 

Add the peanuts and mix all the ingredients into a soft paste.

Wrap the mix and put the bowl 30 minuts in the fridge. 

Make little balls and put them in a tray, leave 5cm between them. 

Flatten slightly with the hand. 

Bake them at 190ª about 15 minuts or until the cookies will be golden.

Then, I put all the peanut cookies un a cardboard box and I used Coharu Washi Tape Printer to do the labels! 

Voilà!

Hoy he estrenado la impresora de washi tape!

Es de lo más bonita! La tengo expuesta en una estantería y todo!

De momento, ya llevo hechas algunas etiquetas y me ha servido para mi nueva cajita de envolver regalos.
