Before showing you the best landscapes I've ever seen, let's do a trip to Iceland throught the food. Some dishes are the most traditional ones, others just taste delicious!

The most famous place to take lobster soup in Reykjavik. If you go there you can not miss a visiti to Sægreifinn

If there's no beer, you can take Egils Malt Extrakt, if you don't want to spend money in beers, thats the beverages best option!

After spending hours on the route, we arrived to Seyðisfjörður, a cute an charming village in the Eastfjords (more photos soon).
It was cold and windy, so I decided to take some pumpkin soup to be warm. It's from a cafe-restaurant-art gallery called Skaftfell. I recomend going the if you stop in this village.

Finishing the tour to the island, you go to de Settlement Center in Borgarnes. The food is so good, aswell as the interior design. There's also the museum and a shop where you can find traditional islandic stuff and design products.

Chilis and Cakes from Babalú, in Reykjavik

¿Do you know Skyr? It's one of the most popular food of Iceland. It's a kind of yogurt and it's delicious!
That's Skyr Cake (or Skyrkaka in islandic) from Tíu Dropar, the cafe we had in front of our backpackers hostel in Reykjavik. It's a really cozy place, the furnitures, the plates, the tea cups were so cute...
I shop Skyr before coming back home, so you will have the Skyr Cake recipe soon in the blog!

Back again!
I've got lots of things to show you, but one of the headlines I learnt is that icelander know a lot about wool! They have got sheeps all around, they handmade beautiful tricot swaters and, finally, they make wonderful yarbombing. I found these ones while I was walking throught the streets of Reykjavik and Akureyri.

Knitting Iceland is a tricot lover collective that made most of the Reykjavik yarnbombing and also they organize creative initiatives like Knitting Tours around Iveland, to know more about these practice in the island.
Last photo is made in front of Kaffi Költ, in Akureyri (a cute space where you can take cofe, eat some cake, play the guitar or shop tricot and other craft supplies).

viernes

Iceland! Here we go!

See you when I come back!
I'll take my new boots! It was a bargain that I found here!

jueves

London walk

Un poco más de Londres!
Esta vez, descubriendo nuevos espacios. Netil y Broadway Market.
