★ Idle Idol ★

Gracias Raichel!

This is a a new book in my library. The Idle Idol, about Japanese Mascots.
The first time I talk about it was in the Little Dröm Store entry, one of my favorites Singapore shops and when I discovered The Sato Chan existence (the mascot of a Japanese pharmacy company). It's the little orange Elephant that you can see in the last photo.
Then I needed to check the website oh the book frequently for preparing the Monkeyzen entry about Japanese Mascots.
Now, I've got the book in my hands and it's amazing!
Japan has mascots for everything, even the Police has one! check Pipo-kun (the Tokyo Police Mascot that apears in the back cover of the Idel Idol book. For more police mascots, click here)
I'd like to share this book with you, because if your will go to Japan someday, you will see mascots all arround! What I like the most is the animal fences that delimitate an under construction area. Love it!

Wow! My advent calendar was featured in The Cultivated Home! I'm so happy! Thanks Raichel!
